I teach a wonderful group of young students who strive to come to school each day and work very hard. I want to make sure to give them every opportunity they deserve. I want them to be strong-minded and knowledgeable, to do what we need to make them financially secure and confident.
Our school works very hard to teach each student how to be responsible citizens in society.
What better thing to invest our time and energy on educating these students about financial responsibilities, a life skill that will benefit them now and in the future.
My Project
My school is working on putting together School kits for students to use while at home learning, during the CoVid-19 school closures. Many of our students do not have technology so giving them the hands on materials they need to continue learning from home has been a challenge.
We want each student to get a ziplock bag filled with pencils, pencil sharpeners, glue, a whiteboard with a dry erase marker and a pair of scissors.
These items along with printed packets of materials will engage the students while they are home during this stressful time. Please help us as we prepare these packets for 300 students.
