My Students
I have a fun and excitable group of third graders! They are most passionate about learning cursive and multiplication. They're so ready to challenge themselves this year, and I am excited to pose these challenges and work together as a team to help them accomplish their goals.
My students are all such strong human beings in their own ways.
They are all different but somehow are all so cohesive. They build each other up and cheer each other on. If they learn anything this year, I hope it's to keep that positive mindset of kindness and love.
My Project
The dice and answer buzzers can be used throughout the year for review games. My students can use the dice for creating 3-digit addition and subtraction problems, multiplication and division problems, and even fractions! When concepts are practiced through games, student engagement increases exponentially. They're more willing to challenge themselves in order to score higher than their peers.
It is so important for students to be exposed to accurate and fluent reading, and this is why I make it a point to do a read aloud every day.
It's also the perfect way for them to settle down after the excitement from lunch. I cannot wait to read the "Wild Robot" books during read alouds. I know my kids will love them!
