My students need printer ink and copy paper, in order to, print out their assignments, as well as, be provided differentiated classwork and homework assignments based on their various instructional levels.
I teach in a large, urban kindergarten through eighth grade school with a large population of students with special needs and other health impairments. All of the students receive free breakfast and lunch. Moreover, the students have diverse backgrounds with various family situations.
My students are in grade four.
They have special needs and other health impairments that impede their learning on a daily basis. Unfortunately, these struggles prove to be too much for the students, so, they are easily frustrated and lack the motivation to learn.
My Project
Due to my students' learning disabilities and other health impairments that impeded their learning, I need to provide differentiated reading and math activities to meet their needs. I find these activities from various websites, which requires an enormous amount of photocopies, so I can create meaningful, engaging, academic work packets for the students to complete independently and with my support, in order to, help close the achievement gap and to boost their skill level. In addition to the copy paper, we are requesting printer ink, so, the students can print out their work.
