This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This school year I wanted to try dynamic shelving for our library to see how it would go, and to see if it would help students find books they love faster and easier. I purchased the first sets of book bins by myself just to see if it would work out. It did, the students love them and they are able to find their favorite books so easily now. The students have been asking for more so that is what I hope to do now.

I want to expand what I have already started in the library and add more book bins to our most popular series as well as organizing books in a way that makes sense to students.

The book bins will help me make the library easier to navigate for students. .

I have also included some basic materials to get me through the end of this school year as well as start the new school year in the fall!
