Dynamic Shelving for our Dynamic Students & Books

Help me give my students a way for them to browse books in the library that showcases the covers, organizes the shelves, and increases circulation.

My Project

Our school library would like to create a space on the shelves to offer our students a more face out book presence for our non-fiction books. Students love how our picture books have been reorganized and now we hope to provide the same opportunity for students to discover books in non-fiction. When they see the covers of intriguing books, it captures their attention and they feel less intimidated.

We want our students to find our library collection organized in a way that feels exciting and irresistible to they can discover and get hooked on the joy of reading!

In our library, we have a quick checkout time with limited shelf space, so creating shelving arrangements where the books can face out enhances the student experience, increases the variety of circulation, and makes the books more accessible and less overwhelming.

Students will find the non-fiction section to be much more user friendly and inviting and they'll gain confidence in their more independent browsing time.
