My Project

With these materials, our Goodrell students will have the ability to build hallway bulletin boards for their classmates. These will promote a sense of ownership in the collective spaces they inhabit.

When our students need to take a brain break from the classroom, they often seek a space in the hallway, and these supplies will allow them to look at work created by their peers.

Students have made great suggestions for what to display. Their ideas currently include a "Fridge" to hang up exemplar work, a display for incoming sixth graders to be able to learn about school staff, and brain break style games like Sudoku, Chroma Cube, and Incohearant (silly phrases they have to unravel). This would also allow our clubs to create displays to encourage others to join or showcase their successes.
