My Students
A typical day in my classroom starts off with a smile! School is a place where my students feel welcome and loved every day.
My fifth graders come from many different walks of life.
My classroom is composed of a large percentage of students receiving free/reduced price lunch, as well as a variety of backgrounds.
My thoughtful and inquisitive fifth graders come to school excited and eager to learn, despite the challenges of learning through a pandemic. Our classroom is a tight community of learners and enjoy spending it together as "family."
My Project
My fifth graders are learning both in person and virtually. Our classroom needs resources that can be printed and used in the classroom, as well as have the ability to use across various digital platforms. Having engaging resources that can be used in person and virtually will allow my classes to continue to master skills while practicing 21st-century literacy skills.
I would like to purchase resources to supplement our current curricula such as Boom cards and Book Club units.
Having these as digital resources will allow my students to participate and learn from each other, whether they are learning in person or virtually in a more engaging and authentic way.
