Help me give my students high interest books for our classroom libraries. Funding of this grant will provide exciting books for the entire 6th grade of Camden Intermediate school and help interest 150 readers to read more books!

My Project
With the best interest of our students in mind-we have watched them the past few weeks of school read titles just like these and have also asked them what type of books they wish they had for our classroom libraries. 150 students, in two classes, will be able to choose new books, which will re-energize their independent reading time.
With these new books, our students will be able to choose from a variety of high-interest books that will allow them to read exciting, engaging books, independently.
They will also be able to choose books that interest them. The best way to increase reading ability is to read more, and these books will continue to help our students grow into much stronger readers. Our 6th grade students have already shown an amazing interest in independent reading, and this project will only help to motivate and empower their adventures with the printed word.
