This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project brings snacks to our classroom to help us learn and understand the Chinese New Year. As a World Language class and the diversity that our city brings, I find it necessary to integrate as many cultures and customs as possible. We are not bound by one set way; we need to learn about others' customs to understand each other better. Additionally, to help our youth have healthier habits, I am seeking funding for dye-free goodies. Kids are kids; what better way to celebrate and learn about Chinese New Year?
