DSA Physical Education Improvements

Help me give my students more ways to stay active during school, P.E., and after school. The weight equipment will allow scholars to learn how to lift properly and the P.E. equipment will help all scholars stay active.

My Students

The scholars at DSA are more than students they are scholars. They work to achieve a higher level of learning in each activity they do. The scholars encourage each other to improve in every aspect of learning and support other learners in the process.

My Project

The materials will allow scholars to improve physically while learning new sports such as baseball, basketball, football, and dodgeball. Since DSA currently does not have a gym, our equipment gets worn out or deflated quickly due to the environment. The P.E. bundle will give us much needed sports balls to be used daily at P.E. or lunch recess. The weight equipment will also be used in our Middle School weight room. DSA will use the bench, bar and rack to teach proper weight lifting mechanics for squating, benching, dead lifts, and power cleans. All equipment will be used to help all the scholars at our school in one way or another.
