Dry Erase Necessities for 2nd Grade!

My students need dry erase pockets, dry erase markers & erasers to practice skills, clipboards to help them ease into flexible seating in our classroom, along with storage caddies for their desk pods.

My Students

I teach a whole class of happy, amazing, and talented 2nd graders. I've looped up from 1st grade with most of my class in order to continue seeing them grow as scholars. At my school, we are constantly stretching our thinking with the typical Common Core curriculum into music and the arts. My students love to draw and color. They are constantly drawing each other and myself pictures and practicing their artistic abilities.

My students are energetic, fabulous, and endlessly interested in music and the arts.

My students are always looking for ways to incorporate arts into their everyday work. Whether it's drawing an illustration to go along with a piece of writing, singing a song based on a poem read in class, or writing a play for all of their friends based on The Three Billy Goats Gruff. My students love any opportunity to express themselves in a way that is creatively, colorfully, or undeniably them.

My Project

Practice makes perfect, and practicing skills is so vital to 2nd grade success. My students will use dry erase pockets and markers every day. We use the dry erase pockets during reading and math. In reading, we use the dry erase pockets to learn new phonics skills.

In math, we use the dry erase pockets to learn math strategies that will help my students become more fluent in addition and subtraction.

We use the supplies on a daily basis and need new materials to help us with our learning. I am able to quickly check the progress of my students by using the dry erase pockets on a daily basis.
