Ninety percent of the students at my school receive free or reduced-price lunch. Fifty percent of the students are English as a Second Language students. Some of the students are homeless. There are a lot of special needs students at my school.
The neighborhood that the school is located in was hit by a tornado a few years ago.
Some of the students live with grandparents or in single-parent homes. A lot of the parents are unemployed due to the recession and the economy.
My Project
The children need dry erase markers to engage in STEM. These markers help the students to engage with the school work and solve real world problems. These are basic supplies that kids need to help them gain knowledge. The children will use the markers in small groups, individually, with companions, and as an entire class when they are learning about STEM. The students will benefit from these by improving their academic skills. The goal of using these markers is to help the students better their grades in STEM.
The dry erase markers will help the children improve their learning of STEM.
The dry erase markers will be used to do math problems. The kids will work on science with the markers. They will work on math factors and science projects. The students and will have success in STEM with the markers. Please help the children be productive members of the community and excel.
