My Students

My students love to explore and create. They are curious children who love to learn by doing and creating. My students come from very diverse backgrounds, and, yet, you would not know it when you walk into the classroom. We all interact and enjoy learning together.

Learning by doing is a focus in my school and classroom.

We are a Title I school that makes the most out of what we have. We don't focus on what we can't do; instead, we focus on what we can do.

My Project

After teaching for sixteen years, my dry erase boards and erasers have seen better days. My students love to work on the dry erase boards at many different times during the school day. They give them a chance to students to have a place to practice their learning in a way that is fun and engaging to them.

These boards will allow my students to practice work, make mistakes and fix those mistakes.

They will allow me to give the students quick feedback on their work while they are working and not have to start all over when something is not quite correct.
