My Students
I am so excited to be teaching my first year in Harrisburg, PA. I am blessed with a very diverse group of students who accept and care for one another. Many of my students come from low-income households and have faced trauma in their short lifetimes. My students often face challenges and hardships, but they have the biggest hearts. They deserve the best!
My students inspire me every single day.
I want to be able to give my students everything. Being able to provide resources and materials that they do not have access to at home will motivate them and get them exciting about learning.
My Project
Please help me to help my students by giving them an interactive way to respond to questions in the classroom. With dry erase flip boards, I can have students respond and hold up their answer. When each student holds up their dry erase board, I can quickly see whether students are mastering the content I am teaching. This helps me as a teacher determine which students understand the material, and which ones I need to go back to re-teach. Students love using dry erase markers and will be motivated to use them in the classroom. It is my hope that this will increase academic achievement!
