My Students

Our students are engaged learners who think about what they want to do out in the real-world to make a difference and best use their thinking minds to solve problems!

All of our students are getting a chance to think outside of the box in our Makerspace where they can explore critical thinking, project planning and express their knowledge in non-traditional ways through STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) integration.

Students K thru 6 will have access to this resource in our STEAM Makerspace. We use our space for daily instruction and our students love getting out of their classroom and into this creative space!

My Project

Integrating STEM into our everyday learning helps my students to think BIG! They are preparing for real-world jobs in the ever growing fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. Our Makerspace needs a whiteboard easel to use in out group brainstorming for big projects!! Our students learn how to collaborate in groups and the whiteboard is needed for brainstorming and planning! We want to share our IDEAS!

We often break into groups to work on projects.

This helps our students learn how to work together with different personality types and how to combine efforts towards a common goal. We need the whiteboard easel to put our ideas up in order to visualize them as we work on building, making and creating in the Makerspace!
