My Students

My students are eager learners who can do anything they put their minds to. They are active, sweet, caring, and most importantly, smart! They are eager to please and strive to do their best. In my classroom, we work together to achieve the best!

And we carry that out in our daily routines! Our classroom is full of color, life, and energy. By working together, we come together as one to make up a class family!

My Project

Every day during whole group reading time, we use thinking maps to discuss the story that was read. A dry erase easel will make this more visible for my students to see and keep them actively engaged by allowing them to come up and add responses to the thinking map. The dry erase easel also doubles as storage and a big book holder, which is fabulous because all teachers know that big books are hard to handle and we can never have enough storage! The easel also has wheels which means it will not only work during whole group instruction, but in small groups as well.
