My Students

There is so much to love about my students. They are extremely diverse, especially when it comes to music. They have such a broad range of interests and ideas on how to express themselves musically. I am amazed each day by their creativity and their ability to pick up on learning new music so quickly. For some, music is the way my students are able to express themselves.

My Project

Music and rhythm instruments are a fantastic way to support mental health and acknowledge that we are currently living during a stressful time in history. Music and instruments give students and children a way to express themselves creatively.

Think back to when you were a kid in elementary school and how excited you would be knowing you have your own instrument kit at home to not only play music but to use to help express yourself.

This is the excitement and joy I want for my students while we live in a crazy world where we are still learning from home. Rhythm sticks, drums, woodblocks, etc. are all wonderful rhythm instruments to help my students not only play music but to enjoy life a little bit!
