My Students
My students come to class each day excited and eager to learn and play the guitar. They enjoy playing guitar music from various cultures around the world, both modern and old.
Our guitar program is comprised of 102 budding musicians who come from various musical backgrounds, some have played guitar for years and others have never picked up an instrument before.
My students are talented and eager to learn. They exhibit incredible musicianship and strive to be better musicians each day.
My Project
The RMHS guitar and music theory programs have come a long way in the last few years. With the addition of bass and electric guitars, as well as microphones and recording equipment, we have been able to expand the musical experiences offered to our students. However, we are currently missing one key element to any modern musical environment, drums!
The addition of a digital drum set will expand the music-making opportunities available to our students and will allow them to learn, experience, and create music in new ways.
During the past 6 years I have had the privilege to see the amazing music that our students are capable of making. These students are only limited by the resources that we are able to provide them. Your donation will help remove these limitations and will enable our students' creativity.
