My Students

What makes my students so special? Themselves of course!! My classroom is full of very diverse students but they share one thing in common, their thirst for the knowledge of music. We have students that come from high poverty areas, many different cultures, and very different home lives.

100% of our students receive free breakfast and lunch.

Our school also has a Backpack Blessing program that supplies food for the students to carry home on the weekends.

The band program serves 30% of the schools population.

My Project

Our school has been known for its excellence in band for many years. While this is great, we are in dire need for some new equipment to continue the tradition of excellence. By helping fund our new snare drums and stands you will be placing high quality instruments in the hands of students, some from poverty, allowing them to create amazing music.

The students join band to become part of a family that they get to have everyday outside of their home.

Having these new snares and stands will allow the students to create a uniformed sound and grow as musicians with their band family.
