My Project

No it's not Beethoven, but I'm sure he would approve of this project. I am asking for new Remo Hand Drums for my elementary music classroom.

My goal is to acquire enough drums to eventually have a percussion ensemble at my elementary school.

I teach Tk-6th grade general music to over 350 students. I see them twice a week and am always trying to think of new experiences they might enjoy.

My goal is to include all my students in every activity I introduce. I notice that my students' eyes light up every time I pull out any type of drum. They show tremendous focus when they and their classmates get to play a drum. I know we could create something wonderful if every student had their own hand drum and could be involved in active music making.
