Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Drones are used commercially to survey land, and students can get a taste of this by using drones in the classroom. Starting off with surveying the school grounds or a local park, students can check out the topography or monitor wildlife in the area. Students can monitor the effectiveness of the school watering system by using their drone.
A drone can also capture seasonal landscape changes or unique geological formations.
The students will get an opportunity to continue in the field of study during classroom time to better enhance their ability to understand surveying as a viable career.
