Our school is one of the three middle schools that have operated a robotics program full-time for the last 5 years. The robots have seen thousands of iterations. Writing code and working out problems is one of the key factors that our Lego EV3's are starting to show signs of age. They freeze and sometimes do not even want the code to be downloaded. We want our robotics program to continue to be a driving force for our students success in coding and problem solving. We also run an First Lego League (FLL) program which feeds off of the students who attend our Tech Ed classes throughout their 3 years here at Fairgrounds Middle School. By purchasing 5 new Lego EV3's or brains for our robots, we will be able to eliminate some of the freezing from 5 of our most used and tired robots.
