My Project
Understanding geometry concepts in a hands-on and engaging way can significantly improve students’ comprehension and interest in STEM. By integrating drone soccer into our geometry curriculum, students will explore three-dimensional objects and fundamental geometric principles such as angles, lines, circles, and planes through real-world applications. This project will provide an innovative learning experience where students analyze flight paths, measure angles of movement, and calculate distances—all while engaging in an exciting and competitive environment. The drones will serve as a dynamic tool to reinforce abstract mathematical concepts, making learning both interactive and meaningful.
Purchasing U19 Drone Soccer “LEARN” Team Equipment Bundle will allow our math STEM students to develop their skills and prepare for participation in drone competitions.
Additionally, the acquisition of two Drone Soccer Goals will enhance their experience, providing a structured, competitive setting for practical application. This initiative is especially impactful for our high school students, where 100% receive free or reduced-price lunch, ensuring that all students gain access to cutting-edge STEM opportunities. By integrating drone technology into the classroom, this project will not only strengthen students' understanding of geometry but also spark interest in engineering, aviation, and robotics, preparing them for future STEM careers.
