Drone Obstacle Course for Drone Education!

Help me give my students an indoor drone obstacle course! The netting will provide a safety net for the space, to prevent escapee drones. The landing pads and the obstacle courses will allow for competition set up.

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Drone education is on the rise as it is a high skill high wage job. As we build these obstacle courses, it will provide a safe place for students to learn how to maneuver and actively control the drones. All students in the program are TRUST certified and I am currently working on my Part 107 certification in order for us to fly outside as well.

My goal with this project is to get more students involved and teach them a highly sought after skill in our area.

Students will be able to work towards entering competitions in our area that focus on drone obstacles and control that I will be teaching these students. Students will have the opportunity to advance through competitions from local to national levels!
