Driving to School

Help me give my students wooden cars, trains and houses for construction play.

My Project

Our classroom will use these cars in our construction area. We will use these to learn how to build and create a city. These cars will be used to learn social skills and knowledge about the city in which they live. We also learn the name of the state and address of each individual student.

Community learning will be the focus of this project to promote self-awareness of where each student lives.

Cars will be encouraged to share and learn about each other background culture. We will use the cars also in some of our sensory tables to pretend to make a city in which we live.
