Driven to Technology

Help me give my students the opportunity to use technology. This iPad will help them learn using digital notebooks.

My Students

My kiddos are non-verbal students with autism. The majority of my students come from low-income families or broken homes. I would like to see my kids become more independent as they advance through school. I want to provide them with as many opportunities that I can.

My Project

Each student will have their own digital notebook downloaded to the iPad. During their independent time, they will have the opportunity to use the iPad one-on-one to practice their letters, numbers, and addresses all by touch.

The kids will be using their fingers and building fine motor skills as they move the cursor on the iPad to practice their assignments.

Giving them the independence now will help them become stronger students in the years to follow.

For the majority of the kids, this will be the only technology they will be exposed to or have access to.
