My Project
We are in Hawaii and that means we get pretty hot during the school day. We have a water cooler that we use every day after we work outside in the garden, but sometimes we make smoothies and other drinks that require ice. We have an ice machine in the culinary classroom, but sometimes it doesn't produce very much ice. This ice machine will give us a steady stream of ice that we can use every day!
Making smoothies, boba and keeping produce cold is what this ice machine will be used for each day.
My students are pretty adept at the smoothies, just like they work at Jamba Juice, but the boba is a little harder to make. Giving my students all the supplies and equipment they need to do these fun activities is what I strive for! Growing the bananas, making the smoothies, and sharing with our class is what makes it fun for everyone!
