FULLY FUNDED! Mr. Odom's classroom raised $380
This project is fully funded
At Mary Bryan Elementary School, I have two dry erase boards. Actually, they were made from white tile purchased from a local hardware store. The boards have done well, but now they're falling apart! Since they weren't true dry erase boards, I shouldn't be upset, right? WRONG! These boards have been pivotal in helping my students learn. I don't have to use the soon-to-be-proven-unhealthy chalkboards to teach my students.
The dry erase boards have given me the chance to teach color-filled, vibrant lessons that are visually appealing and easier to maintain than chalkboards. I've formatted a strategy for my students to focus on certain colors when learning new concepts, and that helps the variety of abilities in my classroom gain the skills needed to continue being successful learners.
Having true, good quality dry erase boards will eliminate the horrific ones in use and enable my third graders to have something beautiful to look at while academically growing in leaps and bounds. Two dry erase boards worked marvelously, however, three would be perfect!
