Dressed to De-Stress: Stylish Bandanas for Our Therapy Dog

My Project

Our classroom is home to a very special member of our school family—our therapy dog! Each day, this sweet, calm companion helps create a safe, nurturing space for students to regulate emotions, manage stress, and build social-emotional skills.

To make our therapy dog feel extra loved and special—and to foster a deeper connection between students and our furry friend—we’d love to request a collection of stylish bandanas from The Foggy Dog.

These high-quality bandanas are not only adorable and classroom-friendly, but also spark joy and conversation among students.

Students look forward to seeing which bandana the dog is wearing each day. It gives them something to smile about, encourages expressive language, and creates a sense of ownership and involvement. Some students even help choose the bandana for the day, which supports their decision-making and emotional engagement.

These small, meaningful touches turn ordinary school days into extraordinary ones. When students feel emotionally connected, supported, and excited to come to school, learning thrives.
