Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Many of my students come to school with sweatshirts that are too small or too large for them. They also often have holes in them, smell, or are hand-me-downs from older family members. Not only this, many of my students come to school with the soles of their shoes falling off or are trying to squeeze into shoe sizes that are just too small for them. I have picked out a few different sized items that I would be able to give to students as needed. I love my kids, and seeing them feel uncomfortable when they come to school is so heart breaking! It would mean the the world to us if you funded this project.
