Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My 5th grade students come to school each day ready and eager to learn. They are hard workers who put forth so much effort across all of their content area classes and specials. These 24 students are kind and compassionate and want to show others how seriously they take learning.

I want to help provide all of my students with school uniform clothing of white polo shirts and navy blue pants and sweatshirts.

Our school requires students to wear uniforms, but unfortunately many of our families struggle to purchase these clothing items. On top of the financial strain, my 5th graders are at the age where they are experiencing significant growth spurts and there uniform clothes suddenly do not fit them anymore!

By making uniform clothes available to all of my students, they will be able to come to school feeling confident and well-dressed, ready to take on the challenges presented in class each day.
