Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The materials in this project are intended to help our new students feel confident and ready for their first school experience. We would like to ensure that every student has a sweater, two shirts, and two bottoms. Many times we have seen students come to school in their pajamas or wearing the same clothes several days in a row. We have selected clothing that reflects our school colors along with a heat press and vinyl to label their sweaters with their intials. We would also like for our students to stay hydrated and nourished and that is why we are requesting reusable water bottles and lunch bags. Every student receives a free breakfast and lunch but sometimes they don't have enough time to finish their fruits or cookies. A lunch bag will allow them to save these items for later.
