Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I'm teaching my students, to reach for the stars. This iPad Mini will put the world at my students' finger tips. The iPad Mini will create endless possibilities for my students.
I have 130 seventh grade students.
Their abilities range from gifted to specific learning disabilities. Teaching classes with such diverse abilities is a welcomed challenge. My students have one thing in common. They Dream Big. They have high expectations and usually push themselves to their limits. My students need an iPad Mini. An iPad Mini will open up new doors for all of them. They will love bring literature to life by making movies and using Tableau strategies. This is selecting events from stories and posing for still shots. They will have to capture the characters emotions in these still shots. They won't be reading literature. They will bring it to life.
My Project
Common Core Standards have brought new challenges to my students. An iPad Mini will help deepen my students' comprehension and bring a love of language arts to them. An iPad Mini has endless uses in a classroom. There are apps for almost everything that a teacher can imagine.
