This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
With a donated 3D printer, filament, and basic tools, my students will be able to turn their ideas into real, hands-on creations. These materials will transform how they learn—making abstract concepts in science, math, and engineering come alive in a way that's engaging, meaningful, and unforgettable. From printing geometric shapes to designing prototypes for inventions, students will deepen their understanding through creativity and problem-solving.
Goals of the Project:
The goal of this project is to introduce 3D printing as a tool for exploration and innovation in the classroom.
Students will learn how to design in 3D, collaborate on projects, and apply STEM skills in real-world ways. It will also build their confidence and spark curiosity by showing them that they can be creators, not just consumers.
