My Project
This project is all about drawing and the power of a crayon. This project will allow me to provide the very basic supplies for my students to draw. The contrast of white oil pastel on a black paper is quite a powerful one and vice versa. My students are naturally attracted to drawing but sometimes lack the motivation or confidence to begin.
My students will learn how to believe in themselves and turn a line into a person or animal or anything their imagination allows them. The books in this project will show my students how a simple mark or a shape can turn into something incredible. This project will show my students that the sky is not the limit it's only the starting point.
A drawing today will lead to writing in the future since drawings are early literacy skills.
