My students need these stylus pens so that I, as a teacher can help intergrate technology into our art curriculum. So much of art relies on technical abilities and I want to prepare them for the future.
My students come from wonderfully diverse backgrounds. Some are ESL students, other are world travelers, their ability levels range from SPED students to Gifted programmed students. Yet, Art, is the level playing ground for them all.
While all their wonderful qualities make them unique, my classroom is one room where they ALL can connect, communicate, and create, even if they struggle to do this in in other academic classrooms.
I love the connects my students make in my room and it makes me proud to call them "my kids."
My Project
Having these styluses will make a huge difference in my art room. It will allow me to teach important art techniques, better my students hand and eye coordination, all while integrating technology into my curriculum.
Drawing on an iPad with your finger is awful and that is what we currently have to do.
These styluses will open so many doors for my students to explore, and will allow us to create beautifully crafted digital art that they can be proud of.
