Drawing With Ease

Help me give my students an elevated art experience of figure drawing from observation with easels. This will strengthen their proportion skills and they will get a feel for drawing upright, and off of a flat surface.

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Getting students up out of their seats has been proven to stimulate cognitive development and improve comprehension and focus. With the purchase of the upright easels, we will be able to introduce a new way of drawing to students who have been used to sitting down while drawing. Whether it's creating a figure drawing, drawing still life from observation, or taking the easels outside to draw a landscape under the warmth of the sun, getting our students up out of their seats and focused on creating is our ultimate goal!
