Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Every student in our Junior High School of the Arts owns an art journal. Students in ceramics class are suggested to use these art journals to draw 10 minutes outside class each day. The drawings are done with pencils in most cases, but I encourage students to try various medium when it comes to drawing.
With Inktober coming up soon, I'd like to have students use Brush Pens to enhance their drawing skills.
Brush practices are also important in ceramics as design is applied on ceramic forms using a brush. Students need these to enhance their skills.
