This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are English language learners who are new to this country and find their voice through art! They may struggle to find the words in English-but when it comes to art, the language barrier completely disappears.
These drawing supplies will help them tell their stories, through art and communicate beyond words.
They will able to hone their skills and use quality drawing supplies to express their ideas and communicate their thoughts ways that only is limited by their imagination. When they see their drawings get to that next level- their confidence will skyrocket! Art can create that bridge between their language and English helps them to communicate to the world.
