My Students

My students are inspiring, eager to learn, and always hungry for more knowledge; however, we live in a relatively poor community, so necessary materials are restricted. Nonetheless, my students put their best feet forward daily to make great leaps.

My students genuinely love hands-on learning opportunities and take pride in their creative work.

I enjoy giving my students these opportunities any time I possibly can.

Learning in kindergarten is so amusing; it should be fun and adventurous, not taxing and boring!

My Project

In Kindergarten, we draw every day; this is how we respond to text, express ourselves, answer comprehension questions, and record mathematical findings. These supplies are very specific things that I have chosen to help my students have everything they need to be successful.

I am asking for three things to ensure my students' success: a classroom set of crayons, a crayon sharpener, and markers.

A classroom set of crayons will give all of my students an equal opportunity to have every color they need. Often times, my students need to borrow a friend's crayon. When we get our project funded, we will have enough in our classroom for everyone. A crayon sharpener will extend the life of our crayons. Markers will be available for students that do not have them in their crayon box.
