My Students

Help us discover our potential in learning how to draw and see the world in a completely new way!

My students love to create new and innovative projects with fun and fabulous art materials!

We work with an array of art media including paint, clay, drawing supplies, etc. My students range in ages five through ten, (or grades Kindergarten through Five). They look forward to art class every week! This year we have been using all sorts of art materials to create drawings, paintings, sculptures, collages and mixed media designs. We even put on a fabulous art exhibit at a local Barnes and Noble store!

My Project

My students use their imaginations and creativity to express themselves with pencil and paper. They like to call it “free draw”. They also love to use “how to” drawing books to further increase and enhance their drawing skills. We have a handful of “how to” drawing books in our classroom library but not enough for all our wonderful young artists! I would like to develop a library of “how to” books on various topics to allow my students to further explore the art medium of drawing.

Your donation will further enrich my students in multiple art disciplines, especially drawing.

It will enhance their creative capabilities and broaden their scope of knowledge in art.
