Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
By helping others, people can make a difference. Kindergarten is not the same anymore, our children are held accountable for so much at such a young age. My goal is to teach my students as well as set up a learning environment that is fun, nurturing, and inviting. Help me accomplish my goal!! Thank You.
The children who attend my school come from low income houses.
Some of them from single parent homes. Our school does its best to help parents in any way possible; the PTA is active with parents and host many fundraisers to help pay for activities for the children.
My Project
The resources I am requesting will do so much for my students at an academic as well as social level. The art supplies will allow us to be creative by producing different art projects that will be displayed in the classroom. The dramatic play clothing will allow my students to be creative and imaginative while learning from one anther.
Giving to my project will open a new world for my students, because costs are so high I am unable to provide the materials needed to boost learning in my classroom.
Using art in the classroom is such a wonderful tool that teaches hand eye coordination. Dramatic play helps children with vocabulary; it's an essential part in learning.
