We have started a new literacy program which includes dramatic play in it. I have seen a lot of conversations going on between the students with some of the centers I have set up already. I would like to see this dialogue continue. My students will learn through play.
My students are like sponges in an ocean, soaking up anything they can learn.
They are curious about all the new things they learn and are just beginning their schooling career in kindergarten.
Students are developing their knowledge in many ways nowadays. With all of the technology out there students are struggling to communicate with their peers effectively and these items will help broaden their imaginations too.
I would like to bring dramatic play back into the classroom to expand their imaginations, work on conversation skills, and much more.
I would like to have a variety of different dramatic play activities in them to have the students converse about what they are doing. I believe having a variety of activities with cultural and physical differences would also expand their learning and be more open to other children with a difference.
