Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

During covid many students were isolated at home and were not able to socialize with peers. My students would benefit greatly from having dolls, high chair, play food, a cooking kit, and other engaging materials that support play with their peers, growing them socially and emotionally. Play helps build their imagination, ultimately helping them with their academics. Our students learn through play at their age, and being able to provide this opportunity will help them. My students are amazing and they deserve the best. I want them to build their confidence when engaging with others, as well as build their social emotional capacity. My goal is to have this project funded to help my students.
