it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
A new kitchen set will enhance student learning by engaging students' imaginations, providing opportunities for them to participate in socio-dramatic play, learn self-help skills, and practice responsibility.
My goal for this DonorsChoose project is to provide my students with a kitchen set that brings excitement, encourages imaginative play, and builds self-help skills.
-My students are special because they're mine. Without children of my own, my students are my children, and I want to create an experience in my classroom that they will remember. My students attend a Title 1 school, which means they may come from low-income households, and this may mean they face difficulties at home. Some of my students also have unique needs that benefit from more one-on-one attention and accommodations. Regardless of my students' needs, I want my classroom to be a safe haven where they feel safe, loved, and comfortable to learn.
