Dramatic Play & Intervention Tools for the Little Redhawks
Help me give my students math and reading center and intervention tools. As well as a dramatic play kitchen and grocery basket with food. These can also be used for one to one correspondence & story telling.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project is special because it will help our performing and visual arts magnet focus come into the classroom more. We will incorporate play in the core subjects. Art supplies (loose objects) for story retelling on felt mats. Objects for counting and sorting. Wooden puzzles for phonics and addition/subtraction within 10.
Einstein believed that play was the greatest way to learn!
Help our kiddos that are in their first school year feel engaged in science, math, reading and writing by using the arts! Acting, singing and drawing can also help with memorization.
