This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am going to start my 26th year teaching. I teach an amazing TK inclusion program. Some of my students have special needs and some do not. They learn to work together.

During the day, my students love to play in the dramatic play area where they learn to share, take turns and build their socialization skills with their peers.

My dramatic play area has a kitchen set including a fridge, stove, sink and a table with chairs. It also has a dress-up area, dolls and a dollhouse. With many years of usage, things break. My play kitchen set is broken. My dolls don’t have a changing table or bed. They just lay in an empty box. My dollhouse doesn’t have any furniture or possible families.

For this project, I am asking to replace items for this amazing creative play area. I am in need of a new kitchen furniture set including a table with chairs. I am asking for a changing table and bed for dolls as well as new furniture and posable families that will fit perfectly in the playhouse.

All these will benefit many children for many years. These will help my students learn to share, take turns, and build their socialization with peers.
