Dragon Eye Clay Memories for Summer!

Help me give my students an end of the year dragon eye clay project! My students have been asking to work with clay all year - I would love to end our school year with a memorable project!

My Project

Most of my students have little to no access to art materials outside of our classroom and all of them love clay. We usually only have access to modeling clay because my school has no art budget.

I buy so many materials with my own money but I couldn’t afford the tools we need for this one.

I’ve observed how meaningful art materials are to my students, most of whom don’t have basic art supplies at home. Working with clay supports critical thinking skills and community building! It also encompasses fine motor skills, planning, designing, and creativity.

This would be such a memorable way for them to end the year!
