My Students

We have two computers sitting in our room that need to be put to use!!

I serve twenty, first grade students who live in the heart of the mountains of Eastern Kentucky.

There is an equal mix of boys to girls. My students are bright, energetic, and very eager learners. They are at a critical stage in their lives....the beginning stages of reading.

My Project

I'm requesting a split level, computer table that is suitable for four workstations, and two computers chairs. We currently have two working computers and two computers we need a table for. This split level table will allow all four computers to be contained in one space for student use. Thus, promoting use of higher order thinking skills, reinforce instruction, and provide a natural form of discovery through trial and error.

Having this table and chairs will allow my first grade class to go from two to four computers---doubling the learning experience through the use of technology.
