My Students

Our school is a warm, nurturing environment where the staff and families work together to create a tight-knit community. They take pride in working together to provide challenging and innovative learning experiences for our students on a daily basis.

Our students are active learners!

The students inspire me every day with their smiles, positive attitudes, and perseverance. They immerse themselves in any kind of challenge, due to their enthusiastic, energetic, and curious nature. They carry this passion over into the community by continuously finding ways to help others and working to solve problems and to find solutions. They are true 21st century learners!

My Project

Problem solving and perseverance go hand in hand, and students need these real world skills!. By playing Logic Dots, students will develop their logic, spatial, and deductive reasoning skills while playing a challenging, fun game!

Roald Dahl said "Life is more fun if you play games." I believe school is more fun if we play games!

Using these games with my third, fourth and fifth grade classes, we will practice and discuss strategies (starting over/talk it out/gather more information/eliminate choices/work backwards/try something new) as students work on personal progress and chart their growth. We will discuss universal problem solving skills and apply these skills to content and real-life situations.

Using games to practice persistence and critical thinking, students are engaged, attentive, and eager learners!
